AOPA permitted to comment in Santa Monica jet ban case
AOPA is joining the legal battle over a ban on jets at California’s Santa Monica Airport, commenting that the ordinance would set a dangerous precedent. The FAA ruled last summer that the city did not have authority to ban jets at the airport, but Santa Monica is appealing the decision, and AOPA was given permission last week to comment on the appeal.
