~ Philip D. Leaman Wins Copenhagen Film Festival

Filmed on locations throughout Michigan, USA.“Three Pilots” by Philip D. Leaman, former UM film student and Pittsfield Township resident, wins Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival.
“Three Pilots” is a documentary about experimental flying based on the impressions and memories of three pilots who work out of a local municipal airport. Among other things, it proffers a visual treatment of the motivation and inspiration behind their continuing interest in private aviation.

Subject: Short:Dox Award

Hi Everyone,
“Three Pilots” ended up winning the Short:Dox Award at the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, and I just wanted to thank anyone who voted, got the word out to vote, or tried to access the site but were turned away by a frightening foreign language.  It’s an award that reflects how many people support the filmmaker as much as the project, so thanks again for showing up– virtually.

If curious, you can see the site here:

Otherwise, hope all is well with you.

Best,
Philip
